Three people were injured and rushed to hospital following a collision with an electric off-road motor bike.

A 29-year-old man and 36-year-old woman, who were on the bike, were taken to hospital along with a 27-year-old male pedestrian.

After the ordeal, a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He has since been released and awaits a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

The incident took place in West Lothian on Dalkeith's South Street around 4.30pm on Sunday, August 31.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.30pm on Sunday, 31 August, 2025, police received a report of a road crash involving an electric off-road motorbike on South Street, Dalkeith.
