A pensioner was left injured after her home was broken into by three unknown suspects. An investigation was launched following the incident on Lee Mill Road in Hebden Bridge.

At around 11am on Saturday (August 30), police were called to reports of an aggravated burglary, in which three suspects had entered the property.

The occupant, a woman aged in her 80s, suffered bruising after being attacked in the incident. The suspects, who are believed to be two males and one female, were all described as being black, or of mixed race.
