A moderate-to-strong geomagnetic storm is expected Monday night after a Coronal Mass Ejection, or CME was emitted from the sun Sunday, and that means the Northern Lights may be visible around Chicago and across northern Illinois in the evening and even into Tuesday morning.
But it's not a guarantee that you'll see them. So before we go any further, I want to emphasize two things:
