MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two female caregivers and one woman were arrested after allegedly stealing from an 88-year-old woman with dementia for years, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Jennifer McLemore, 49, and Melissa Stewart, 49, are charged with theft of property of $60,000 to $250,000, financial exploitation of an elderly, vulnerable person, and identity theft.
Charges for Sally Dekoe Baggott, 71, have not been released yet.
On September 3, 2024, police say an employee working for the Memphis City Employee Credit Union stated she was concerned that a woman was being taken advantage of.
