Lake Michigan College is planning to offer several opportunities to connect employers with students heading into the new academic year.

LMC spokesperson Jennifer Shoemaker tells us throughout the fall semester, employers can meet students, promote apprenticeships, and network with students online. Coming up on October 15 will be “Take Flight: LMC’s Career and Transfer Expo.”

“ The career part of it is an opportunity for students to come and meet with local employers, but then they also have a chance to attend some workshops that are going to be going on throughout the day,” Shoemaker said.

The day will also include a panel of professionals sharing information about their industries. Shoemaker says LMC is taking employer registrations now.
