Calmer conditions have been in place across New Mexico today with a few isolated storms across northern and western portions of the state. These storms will slowly dissipate through the late evening hours and overnight tonight.
Tuesday will bring another round of isolated afternoon storms, especially in the mountains and nearby areas. Heading into the middle of the week, high pressure will build to the southeast of the state. This will bring more moisture into New Mexico. Isolated storm chances will continue each afternoon through Thursday before more low level moisture increases into the weekend. This will bring more scattered to widespread rain and storm chances for Friday through the weekend.
