BEDFORD, Pa. (WTAJ) — Former employees are now speaking out against a snack-food manufacturer in Bedford that's accused of wrongfully terminating 13 employees.
The Organic Snack Company (TOSC) is facing a federal lawsuit and charges for what terminated employees call union-busting tactics used by the company when they began speaking out about poor working conditions.
Mike McCreary was a maintenance technician at the factory and one of the individuals spearheading unionization efforts. He said the employees wanted consistent scheduling, better healthcare and a safer working environment.
