MIDDLETON, Wis. -- A motorcyclist died after crash on the Beltline, just south of Airport Road in Middleton on Monday morning.

Eastbound Highway 12 was closed for several hours during the crash investigation. The highway has since reopened, and the crash remains under investigation by the Middleton Police Department with assistance from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
