GREEN BAY — If head coach Matt LaFleur was hoping to keep his decision on the Green Bay Packers’ starting left tackle a mystery for the Detroit Lions, he didn’t tell the guy he apparently privately named as the starter.
Either that, or Rasheed Walker is a bad secret-keeper.
Whatever the case, when asked last week whether Walker or 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan would be the opening-day starter at left tackle, LaFleur had replied, “We shall see next week. I’ll let you know.”
Evidently, he’s already let Walker know.
Asked after Monday's practice if he was starting at left tackle on Sunday against the Lions, Walker replied simply, "Yes."
