The Manitoba government is giving municipalities outside of Winnipeg a head start on budget and construction planning by opening applications for a key infrastructure grant program earlier than usual.
Municipal and Northern Relations Minister Glen Simard announced on August 28 that applications are now being accepted for the 2025-26 intake of the Manitoba Growth, Renewal and Opportunities for Municipalities (Manitoba GRO) program, with up to $42 million available.
