ROSWELL, Ga. — A major three-month-long waterline replacement project is expected to cause traffic delays starting on Tuesday in Roswell.
City officials said the project includes replacing 1,885 linear feet of aging, six-inch concrete pipe with new eight-inch ductile iron pipe. The new waterline will form a loop by connecting to larger 12-inch mains on both Mimosa Drive and Marietta Highway.
Impacts will primarily affect Bulloch Avenue in Roswell, officials said.
The upgrade will enhance fire safety in the area and support ongoing improvements at the City's historic sites and residential properties. This project will support renovations at historic landmarks, including Bulloch Hall, Mimosa Hall, and the future Founders Park.
