Storm Team 10 continues to monitor a tropical wave that is moving west in the eastern Atlantic.
The National Hurricane Center is placing a 80% chance that this becomes a tropical depression or stronger in the next 7 days.
Global models show a forecast path similar to Erin and Fernand where the disturbance tracks north of the Caribbean Sea before making a hard turn to stay in the Atlantic.
The forecast uncertainty is high at this point but the risk is low for this disturbance to reach the Gulf.
The next name on the list is Gabrielle.
