A handful of northwest Ohio high school football teams remain undefeated two weeks into the 2025 season, and many of those schools face tough tests in Week 3.
Springfield and Fremont Ross are the only unbeaten teams in the Northern Lakes League. Oak Harbor and Otsego of the Northern Buckeye Conference also are 2-0.
The Northwest Ohio Athletic League has three undefeated teams: Evergreen, Liberty Center, and Patrick Henry.
The other local teams that are off to perfect starts are Northwood, Liberty-Benton, Lakota, Woodmore, Gibsonburg, Port Clinton, and North Baltimore.
Four of those 14 schools have head-to-head meetings on Friday night. Port Clinton plays at Oak Harbor, and Liberty Center hosts Otsego.
