KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police have started to investigate a homicide in Kansas City after a shooting victim was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that just before 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, law enforcement officials were called to St. Luke’s Hospital at 100 NE St. Luke’s Blvd. with reports of a shooting.
When first responders arrived, they said they found one person had been pronounced deceased as a result of a shooting. The incident is believed to have happened within the city limits.
As of 3:30 p.m., no further information has been released as investigators continue to respond.
