The city of Red Bank is developing a $400,000 grant from "Project Diabetes" with the Tennessee Department of Health, a project that has been 56 years in the making.

"I see the trails as more than just dirt. They are community connections, right? They connect both people with each other and with nature," says Sunshine Loveless, Executive Director with Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA) .

The future of Godsey Ridge Trail System will be located on Tom Weathers Drive.

Partners say this is an ideal location for others.

Jeffrey Grabe, Red Bank's parks and rec manager, says the site will be able to create safe trails for the community.

"We are extremely thrilled and honored to get it," he says.
