Locally-owned PAL Aerospace has acquired UK-based Airtask Group, subject to certain regulatory approvals.

VP of Operations at PAL Aerospace, Dave Keddy says PAL has been operating in the United Kingdom for the last two years under a special contract to the government’s Home Office.

That, says Keddy, is what makes Airtask Group such a good fit for their operations.

They also do some of the remote passenger service to some of the smaller Scottish islands, not in a dissimilar way to PAL’s Air Borealis partnership in Labrador where we service some of the smaller coastal communities up there.”

Keddy says acquiring Airtask, a well-established company, helps to increase PAL’s global reach.
