PAWTUCKET – Police have arrested several individuals in Pawtucket and Providence for illegal operation of all-terrain vehicles.

Members of the Pawtucket Police Department received multiple complaints about dirt bike and ATV riders traveling in large groups through the city last month, specifically the East Avenue area of the Oak Hill neighborhood.

It was reported that riders operated recklessly as they performed stunts, such as wheelies and burnouts, and showed disregard for traffic laws, similar to those who participate in “ride-out” events.
