Jet2 passengers travelling from several Scottish airports are being urged to follow new check-in rules. Travellers flying from Glasgow and Edinburgh will now be able to check in for their flights and drop off their luggage the day before. ‌

The budget airline is now offering the twilight check-in service at 11 airports across the UK. Bosses hope the new process will save passengers valuable time on the day of their departure, meaning they can walk straight to security without having to wait in long check-in queues. ‌

Previously, Jet2 passengers checking in luggage would have had to go to the airport at least two hours before their scheduled flight to obtain their boarding passes . ‌
