The husband of a Scottish woman who vanished from a sunbed while on holiday in Greece has revealed that police have said they have found her body. ‌

Michele Bourda disappeared last month while her husband , Chris, was asleep, and when he woke up, the 59-year-old was nowhere to be found. ‌

The couple, from Glasgow, were in the Greek city of Kavala on a two-week holiday when Michele was last seen on August 1, after they had been for a swim . ‌

They took a nap on some sun loungers when they got out of the water on Ofrynio beach, and Michele's belongings were still on the beach when Chris woke up, The Mirror reports.

But Michele was nowhere to be found, and Chris today revealed police officers had finally located his wife's body on a small, privately owned island called Fid
