WEST MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation is constantly working on projects aimed at improving both the flow of traffic and overall roadway safety. One of the most recent upgrades can be found in West Melbourne, right along US-192 near I-95, where a repaving project has just wrapped up.

But this wasn’t just a fresh layer of asphalt. As part of the improvements, unique bicycle lanes have now been incorporated into the roadway. These additions are designed to provide safer access for cyclists while also encouraging better traffic flow for drivers navigating this busy corridor.
