It happens every year about this time. What seems like an endless series of warm/sunny days changes to more of an “up and down” weather pattern. We go from dependable warm/dry weather to cool and showery days interspersed with warm and sunny days. That change will occur this coming weekend and next week, signaling the real end of this summer. Yep, we can still hit 80s and 90s in mid-late September, but the continuously warm to hot weather is about to end.

Expect 3 more very warm and somewhat humid days Wednesday through Friday. Highs 80-90° in the western valleys.

There’s a chance for a shower or thunderstorm west of the Cascades during this time . Most of us will stay dry, but I can’t rule out rain in a few scattered spots.
