COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two people were cited after a crash caused delays on a Colorado Highway early Wednesday morning.

According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the call originally came in at 1:49 a.m. as a two-vehicle hit and run on South Academy and Highway 85. Troopers said one driver fled the scene, but eventually returned.

The crash was blocking the off-ramp of Highway 85 at 1:52 a.m., and CSP says traffic was able to pass through the area at 2:09 a.m. The scene was cleared at 4:55 a.m.

There were no reported injuries. Troopers have not yet shared if impairment is being investigated as a contributing factor to the crash.
