The Chargers continue to be one of the youngest teams in the NFL.

A year after bringing in a number of young players that helped the Bolts secure a playoff berth, the Chargers are once again near the top of the league in average age.

Bill Speros of Bookies.com broke down every NFL roster to find out how each teams' average age stacked up entering 2025.

The site used the birthdates of every player as of the regular season opener — September 4th — that is projected to be on a 53-man roster (1,696 players in total).

Their breakdown found the Chargers are the seventh-youngest team in the NFL.

The average age of a Chargers player is 26 years, two months and 13 days old, which is below the league average of 27 years, 1 month, 29 days.
