PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 120-acre wildfire has been burning in West Milford, New Jersey, since Tuesday night.
The fire broke out in the area of Clinton Road around 9:41 p.m.
Thick clouds of smoke could be seen billowing from trees near the fire.
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service crews were on the scene trying to put out the fire, which is now 30% contained.
Tuesday night, crews constructed containment lines and began backfire operations.
Clinton Road has been closed between Goldfinch Lane & Van Orden Road.
The fire has not threatened any structures and has not led to evacuations.
