Physician shortages are once again being branded for an upcoming emergency department closure east of Sault Ste. Marie.
North Shore Health Network (NSHN) said Wednesday its Thessalon site will be shuttered from 8 a.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday. This is the second time in so many days that site was forced to close its ER; earlier, NSHN announced a 24-hour shut-down for Aug. 25.
