GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) - A 26-year-old Gautier man was sentenced for two counts of exploitation of a child and one count of felony child endangerment.

A judge sentenced David Pace to 80 years. 45 years will be served in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with the remainder on post-release supervision.

The 45 years will be served day-for-day, without the possibility of early release or parole.

“Our office is steadfast in holding anyone who harms children accountable. No one who harms a child should ever doubt that we will pursue justice with every resource available,” said District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath. “Protecting the most vulnerable is not only our duty, it is our unwavering commitment.”
