The 2025 area high school volleyball season commenced this week, as teams served it up Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs of Chase County are off to a fast 8-0 start, claiming the Peabody-Burns Tournament last weekend and defeating Council Grove Tuesday. Chase County hasn’t given up a set yet and will strive to continue that trend when they visit Cair Paravel next Tuesday.

In the Peabody Tournament, Natalie Neff showed out, garnering 12 aces and 87 assists, while teammate Ava Wilson followed with 11 aces and 47 digs. Reace Harshman led the Bulldogs with 54 kills.
