Prosecutors allege that Kingdom of God Global Church is a front for money laundering and human trafficking to support the luxury lifestyles of its leaders. Two church leaders are facing multiple felony charges.
David Taylor, 53, and Michelle Brannon, 56, are accused of controlling every aspect of life for “armor bearers” and other victims under the guise of religious ministry.
These victims served without pay as personal servants to Taylor, prosecutors said. They took calls for millions of dollars annually in church donations, transported women to Taylor, and performed other tasks under threats of physical and psychological abuse and divine judgement. They were forced to live at call centers or “ministry houses” and cut off ties with family and friends who questioned the church, accordin
