A London man faces multiple charges after a man tried to strike another person with a sword in the city’s northwest end earlier this week, police say.
A man was moving out of a home Monday around noon in the area of Beaverbrook Avenue and Oakcrossing Road, southwest of the intersection of Sarnia and Wonderland roads, when he was confronted by another renter, police said.
The two got into a disagreement and the suspect attempted to hit him with a sword, police said.
The victim fled the residence but was followed by the suspect, who continued to try to hit the victim with the weapon, police said.
The attacker then entered the victim’s vehicle, removed the keys from the ignition, and retreated back into the residence, locking the victim out, according to police.
