ATLANTA — A now-former Pace Academy teacher was arrested Monday for sexual battery involving two teenage students earlier this year, according to warrants.
Thirty-three-year-old Marshall Lopez was taken into custody by Atlanta Police. Warrants stated that the crime had occurred between March and May in both cases, and the misconduct happened at the school.
Lopez is accused of hitting two female students on their buttocks. According to warrants, the former teacher would hold the students after class and then would commit sexual battery against them.
For one of the teens, there were three incidents where the misconduct occurred. The first two times, Lopez allegedly scolded her for underperforming in class, warrants stated.
Lopez caught the second teen cheating on a test in April. Warrant
