DECORAH, Iowa — Luther College has been recognized by Forbes as one of the "25 Private Schools with Generous Financial Aid," highlighting its commitment to supporting students financially.

Luther College says it offers financial aid to 100 percent of its students, placing it among the top 20 colleges on the Forbes list. Matt Beatty, vice president for enrollment management, emphasized the college's dedication to providing an education that prepares students for successful careers without overwhelming debt.

In fall 2024, Luther awarded $48.2 million in gift aid, with the average need-based financial aid offer being $51,868, covering about 80 percent of tuition and fees. For students enrolling in fall 2026, merit scholarships can reach up to $37,000 annually.
