AUSTIN, Texas — Two East Austin staples have shut down, albeit temporarily, with no clear timeline as to when they may reopen.

In a social media post Wednesday , Sam's BBQ and Austin Daiquiri Factory announced that they have closed their doors "until further notice."

"We are heartbroken to share that we’ll be closed until further notice," the post from the businesses reads. "Please know we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to reopen and continue serving the community that means so much to us. Your love and support keep us going, and we can’t wait to welcome you back with a bang as soon as possible. Thank you for standing with us during this time. Be on the lookout because when we are back.. we are going to be SO BACK."
