Frank Prezzato was accused of voting in person and via absentee ballot in the August 2024 primary in St. Clair Shores.

Prezzato's attorney said his client pleaded "to avoid the uncertainty of continued litigation." Prezzato was one of four voters, three election workers charged in the matter.

The Michigan Attorney General's Office, which filed the charges, is appealing the dismissals of five of the seven cases in the double voting matter.
