MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - In just a few weeks, Mt. Juliet Police will move into their first-ever headquarters designed specifically for the department — a milestone that reflects both the city’s growth and lessons learned from past disasters.
The new facility marks a significant upgrade for the department, which has operated out of a retrofitted space for more than a decade.
“We moved in with 44 police officers. Today, 11 years later, we have 86,” said Deputy Police Chief Tyler Chandler. “I suspect this building will take our city out another 30 years before we ever have to think about another police headquarters.”
