(NewsNation) — Bones found by FBI agents as they revisited the campground where Travis Decker allegedly killed his three daughters were not human, police said Wednesday.
The FBI searched Rock Island campground in Leavenworth again on Aug. 25 and 26 as they looked for clues about the deaths of Decker's three young girls, Paityn Decker, 9; Evelyn Decker, 8; and Olivia Decker, 5.
The girls were found dead at the campground in Washington on June 2 and Decker hasn't been seen since.
Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison announced the discovery of the bones last week and said they were undergoing testing to determine if they belonged to an animal or human.
