North Little Rock police on Wednesday identified the victim of Monday morning's fatal shooting .

Officers around 2:55 a.m. Monday found Robert Mathis, 50, of Sherwood suffering from at least one gunshot wound near the 300 block of East Bethany Road in North Little Rock, police said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died.

Police had not named any suspects in the shooting as of Wednesday.
