Candidates in the race for mayor have been targeting Zohran Mamdani’s membership with the New York City Democratic Socialists of America.

They have drawn attention to Mamdani’s support of decriminalizing prostitution, creating government-run grocery stores and freezing the rent.

But just how much of Mamdani’s platform is based on the DSA’s charter or goals?
