VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was arrested on multiple charges after police say he was caught advertising an illegal gun for sale.

Police say 24-year-old Martin Escobar had allegedly advertised a short-barreled rifle for sale. The move spurred them to execute a search warrant at his home in the 1800 block of South Cindy Court in Visalia on Thursday.

There, officers say they seized a privately manufactured, fully automatic AR-15 style short-barreled rifle, a large-capacity magazine, 281 rounds of live .223 caliber ammunition, and roughly 4.2 grams of a white powdery substance resembling cocaine.
