NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven firefighters worked to extinguish a fire at 673 Washington Avenue on Wednesday night.

Fire officials said no injuries have been reported by residents or firefighters. They did not comment on how many people were in the residence at the time of the fire.

The fire started on the first floor of a two-family home, fire officials said. There was no comment on the cause of the fire.
