WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - The friends, family, and loved ones of Brandon Robinson gathered in Whitesburg Wednesday to say their goodbyes to a man who devoted his life to serving the region.

“The forecast for Eastern Kentucky today is calling for mostly cloudy skies, some days of sunshine in between there,” said former WYMT employee Shane Smith. “A fitting day, isn’t it. A day where there’s a chance of waterfall from the skies as well as water falling from our eyes.”

A host of longtime friends spoke during the service, sharing stories and memories that have been helping them through since Brandon’s death Sunday.

“No words ever seem to adequately describe the impact that Brandon had. Not only on each of us here today, but on this entire region,” said friend and former co-worker Neil Middle
