WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Wichita South football heads into the fall aiming to build off their success from last year. The Titans won six games in 2024, posting their first winning record in eight years.

The program returns star senior running back Jay'den Kirk along with senior athlete Rashawn Johnson. The two make for a strong one-two punch behind center.

South also returns strong leadership from the linebacking corps with three starters coming back on the offensive line. Junior cornerback and safety Ja'marion Peters will be providing strength in the defensive backfield.

Coach Wells says he was encouraged by last season's results.
