HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Hendersonville Police Department is addressing a post circulating on social media and is investigating the allegation.

Police confirmed that there was no abduction or attempted abduction at the North Carolina Apple Festival corresponding with the social media post.

According to officials, video footage reveals the child was left unattended in a stroller for approximately 10 minutes. During that time, concerned citizens relocated the stroller into the shade nearby until a parent came back to get the child.

This incident remains under investigation.
