Kendra Royster didn’t mind taking her daughter Ella to the Toledo Ballet studio in Sylvania. After all, Royster lives in Sylvania, so it was downright convenient.
“It was great, location-wise, for us in terms of getting her there,” Royster said. “But they just didn't have the space. There wasn't any space really for parents to be in the building. The lobby was very small. There was no place for the kids to really be in between classes.”
And woe to the parents whose child studied ballet and another who studied an instrument. The ballet school was in Sylvania and the music school in Perrysburg.
