ELMORE, Ohio — Woodmore football is using a “bully ball” approach, led by senior running back Landon Rich, to change the trajectory of the program.
Second-year Wildcats coach Scott Stecher has his team off to a 2-0 start using the old school style after he led the program to its first playoff berth since 2001 last season.
With All-Ohio running back Rich and a powerful offensive line leading the way, Woodmore runs an I-formation power attack.
“I'm using the quote of 'bully ball,'” Stecher said. “We need to pound the rock and pound it at them and be smart about it. We pride ourselves on discipline and not making mistakes.”
