Emergency services stormed a Rochdale street following a suspected arson.

Firefighters and police attended a car fire on Mill House Close, in Wardle , at around 12.30am on Wednesday morning (September 3).

Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called out to a suspected arson.

Crews spent around an hour at the scene, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) says.

Images from the scene show flames soaring from the car, while smoke billowed into the air as crews tackled the blaze.
