DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A portion of West Locust Street was shut down after reports of gunfire Wednesday night.
According to Davenport police, at 10:24 p.m. officers came to a home in the 900 block of West Locust Street for a domestic disturbance with shots fired.
Police said a domestic disturbance escalated and a single shot was fired. No injuries or property damage were reported.
The Davenport Police Department’s Emergency Services Team was activated and executed a search warrant at the home.
Police said as of Thursday morning no arrest had been made. The incident remains under investigation.
Around 11:30 p.m., the KWQC crew could see officers with armor and shields outside the home.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, a KWQC saw police blow the home’s door open.
