UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- Two Utica men were arrested on Wednesday in connection with two separate fights with each other in the last month, according to Utica Police.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Jay Street in East Utica at approximately 10:10 am on Wednesday, September 3 regarding a fight. Upon their arrival, they were met by multiple parties, some of whom police say had injuries as a result of the fight.

Police determined that the original incident stemmed from domestic issues between one of the suspects -- later identified as 40-year-old Duane Floyd of Utica -- and a female.

Further investigation into the incident found that a physical altercation between Floyd and another male -- 31-year-old Elijah Mitchell, also of Utica -- ensued before the police arrived. During
