To mark September as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, the public is invited to join pediatric cancer patients, survivors, family members and other supporters on Saturday, Sept. 6, for an evening walk and lighting ceremony hosted by the Foundation of Onvida Health and the AdvoKATE Foundation.

Kicking off at 6:30 p.m. from the Serenity Garden at the Onvida Health Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, 2375 S. Ridgeview Drive, attendees can purchase glowing heart necklaces to show their unified support and brighten the evening with golden lights.

Attendees will then walk around the exterior of the hospital toward the Emergency Department and count down to the lighting of the hospital building itself.
