COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Columbia Metropolitan Airport announced Thursday that one of its airlines will exit the market next month.

CAE said it learned Spirit Airlines will dissolve its routes on Oct. 4, meaning all route operations at the airport will be dissolved. This includes:

Orlando International Airport (MCO)

Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport (FLL)

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Spirit first launched service to and from CAE in June. The company, however, has been the subject of financial turmoil in recent months - filing for bankruptcy a second time in late August .

Those scheduled for flights following Oct. 4 are asked to contact Spirit Airlines Guest Care.
