Dive teams searched the wreckage of a sunken vessel for a boater missing for weeks off Salisbury, Massachusetts, Thursday.

The captain, Dave Benedict, survived, but the search continues for his best friend, Joakim Courteau of Derry, New Hampshire.

Divers searched the sunken wreckage Thursday, but Courteau's body was not located.

"We came out hoping to recover Joe’s body," his sister, Sarah Flemming said.

Benedict's daughter, Shannon Sydney, said her father is recovering, but he's deeply affected by the tragedy.
